Dr. Audrey Stempel, Ph.D.
Hello. I’m Dr. Audrey Stempel. I work with children and families to find more effective ways of coping, communicating, and expressing emotions in order to live life to the fullest and experience joy.
I am also the author of Conversations in My Office: Talking About Parenting in Plain Language. The skills taught in this book are easy to understand and utilize. I have seen many families turn their lives around by following these simple guidelines.
I have been in private practice for over 15 years. Before becoming a psychologist, I was (and still am) a registered nurse.
I have worked in emergency rooms, cardiac intensive care, critical care, general surgery, and finally, pediatrics.
I have been called a “child whisperer.” I have been told that I’m a natural teacher and that I am able to reach many people at many different levels.
